About

At the very core of GlobeMed’s model is a long-term, sustainable partnership with a grassroots health organization.

GlobeMed is a national organization which enables college students across 54 chapters to partner with grassroots health organizations in an effort to improve the lives of people living in poverty by promoting global health equity and social justice. Each chapter places a strong emphasis on a long term partnership, allowing us to gain a deep understanding of our fellow community’s needs and gives us the ability to devote our energies fully to our partner. To learn more about the GlobeMed network, visit the GlobeMed national website.

GlobeMed at MIT is made up of a group of students from all years and majors. As college students, we have access to a vast network of resources and technology that we aim to thoroughly utilize as we target pressing issues in public health. This year, we have the opportunity to form a partnership with a new organization. To see the organization that we partnered with in the past, check out Archives.
